Traditionally, security personnel are required to continuously relay their status and location via radio communication. The SureView app offers a significant enhancement by automating many of these processes, thereby increasing operational efficiency and safety. Notably, the app supplies operators with real-time location data of field personnel, which is critical in emergency situations for prompt response and assistance.

Current features of the application encompass:

• Local notifications for new dispatch requests
• An interface combining map and list views for managing dispatches
• Navigation guidance from current location to dispatch points
• Capability to add notes and upload images related to events
• Visibility into notes added by all involved guards and operators
• Options for guards to set their availability status
• An optional GPS tracking feature allowing operators to monitor a guard’s location*

*Activation of the tracking feature requires guards to select an area or call sign to monitor. The app then tracks the guard’s location in the background to provide real-time updates for operational support. This feature is vital for life-safety scenarios, ensuring that assistance can be dispatched promptly if a guard encounters danger or is involved in an incident.

It should be noted that continuous use of GPS in the background may lead to significant battery consumption.

SureView is a cross-platform application optimized for iOS devices; full functionality necessitates integration with a live SureView system.
